ROT Biker Rally, Austin, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing.
A sea of chrome and rumbling filled the air, as motorcycles of all shapes, colors and sizes again descended upon Austin. Clyde is becoming as much an institution as the rally itself…well…almost! If you missed us the last four years, we’ll be back! A special “thank you” to our ROT fans and friends – you make us smile.

12th Annual Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show, Lubbock, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing.
The West Texas wind swept us off our feet in Black & Red Texas Tech Country. Much to his delight, Clyde was surprised by a visit from Raider Red himself! Despite the high winds, we enjoyed our visit, where Lubbock-ites are always passionate about supporting the Blue Ribbon Rally, The Family Guidance and Outreach Center, and last but not least, their new friends, “Clyde” and “Pearl”! Thanks, Lubbock!

Lone Star Rally, Galveston, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing. The World’s Largest Halloween Party never disappoints! Hundreds of thousands of participants. Rough start weatherwise, but absolutely beautiful the last half of the rally. After a short ride on the beach, Clyde elected to enjoy the sights resting in the shadow of a cruise ship docked in Galveston Bay – the life of a spoiled motorcycle! So much to see and do – so little time…oh well, there’s always next year!

Oldest Town in Texas Motorcycle Rally, Nacogdoches, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing. Successful first year and awesome riding in this beautiful and historic East Texas community. Clyde is not completely convinced this actually IS the Oldest Town in Texas, but after hearing the history - beginning with Pre-historic Nacogdoches, he is not inclined to dispute their claim. Taking in all the attractions and the constant aroma of Texas BBQ smokin’ on the grill (not to mention the bikini bike wash), this is definitely one of the top contenders for Clyde’s favorite rally!

Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally, Austin, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing. If you have never attended this rally, Clyde asks “WHY NOT?” This group of hearty individuals proved that bikers keep on rolling no matter what as they met bad weather head on – heat, tornadoes, hail and rain – but nothing could dampen the fun had by all. A special thanks to those returning “Clyde” fans – you know who you are. We are greatly touched by your continued support!

11th Annual 2009 Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show, Lubbock, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing. Clyde’s first year in Lubbock proved to be one of his finest hours! The people and the weather just don’t get any better than is found in Lubbock, Texas! The community came together in a big way to benefit the Family Guidance and Outreach Center of Lubbock, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Clyde is honored to have played a small part in this most worthy cause.

Thunder Over Texas Motorcycle Rally, Granbury, Texas – Vendor sales and author book signing.
Debut of “Clyde the Glyde and the Carnival Ride” - Clyde’s most recent book release - was well received by his adoring fans. This event, the seventh and final Thunder Over Texas, was a huge success – despite a few thunderstorms - and will be greatly missed.

Gruene Harley-Davidson-Sturgis Week Rally, Gruene, Texas- Vendor book sales and author signing. How hot WAS it? It was SO hot, Clyde threatened to roll into the Guadalupe River, but he couldn’t find a tube large enough to fit around his middle! Thanks to those who braved the heat to visit with us about Clyde’s adventures.
