The illustrations are hand-drawn and air-brushed adding colorful depth and dimension. Because the stories are short (less than five minutes) parents will be able to utilize and maximize their time efficiently at nap and bedtime. The interactive rumble of Clyde's engine - 'po-ta-to po-ta-to po-ta-to' - is comforting as your child begins to relax and fall asleep. 'Clyde' and 'Pearl' offer an alternative to traditional superhero, fairytale or animal characters, and are irresistible, lovable and easily relatable to both boys and girls. The human personas - 'PaJim' in the Clyde the Glyde books and 'Mini' in the Pearl the Motorcycle Girl books - are calm authority figures who watch over and take care of their motorcycles, enjoy spending time with them and accompany them through life's journey.

About the Author

While successful in the financial industry for 27 years, Rebecca Jamison has now fulfilled her lifelong dream of writing children’s books. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, she is married and lives with her husband, Jim, in Keller, Texas, where she continues to write Clyde adventures. Rebecca has two wonderful children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Jim, aka PaJim, aka Pa, was born and raised in West Texas, where he grew up riding motorcycles with family and friends. Jim has been an inspiration to Rebecca through his passion for enjoying life to its fullest.
